All yoga classes are semi-private, with fewer than 5 students; private lessons are also available upon request.

Yoga is an astonishingly healthy and versatile athletic pursuit. It is a full body workout, which is great for athletes looking to cross-train their weaknesses and for non-athletes in search of a comprehensive and fun exercise routine. Yoga’s emphasis on flexibility increases muscular strength and improves joint mobility while decreasing the likelihood of injury. Yoga teaches proper breathing, which improves lung capacity, body awareness, and general fitness. Yoga also helps release stress and improve digestion, blood circulation, and sleep.

After getting her degree from Elon University in 2012, Jessica promptly moved to New York City to study with John T, at Atmananda Yoga Sequence (Atmananda Yoga Sequence is an artful combination of Hatha, Iyengar, and Ashtanga Yoga into a vigorous Vinyasa series, and is registered under the yoga alliance). Under John T’s guidance, Jessica received her 200-hour teacher training certification in June and her 500-hour teacher training certification in August.
Jessica’s expertise and jovial personality have allowed her to quickly develop a core client group in both Miami and New York City. Jessica is an avid traveler who has circumnavigated the globe, and is thus very excited to hosting several international retreats in 2014. Jessica is a personable and passionate yoga teacher and hopes to grow and learn with her students; she is recognized for her ability to connect with her students to administer warm, invigorating, and jovial classes.
